Confusion Over Arrow Length

Archery shops measure arrow length from the nock groove to the

end of the spine, excluding the point length.

For recurve archers this represents a practical problem because they

need to know what length will be pulled through the clicker.


The diagram shows the sizes for our points and pins.

The “Nock depth” dimension shows the sizes for small and large groove nocks,

9 mm being the size for the Easton small groove nock,

11 mm for the McKinney large groove nock.
